From looking at the comparison we can see that sprite is much more popular and Canada dry ginger ale isn’t searched much. In Ontario the search interest for sub-regions for Canada dry ginger ale is 100, and for sprite its 83. The term soft drink has the highest search interest. The term soft drink had 100 search interest from Dec 24th – Dec 30th. In the interest over time the highest point Canada dry ginger ale reaches are 3. For Canada dry ginger ale there’s only search interest in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia.  In interest over time the highest point sprite reaches are 29.

Summary:


Canada Dry Ginger Ale’s strengths are they’re website is very easy to navigate through and on their website, it shows many recipes you can make with their products. Another one of Canada Dry’s strengths is it promotes their contests right on their website so they make it very easy to access all of their contests so you can enter. Another strength Canada Dry has is on there website they have the call-to-action which is our story so if you’re interested you can read and learn how they started and where they came from.  Also, there brand loyalty and reputation are one of there strengths. One of their strengths is their meta keywords they have a very long list of keywords in their HTML coding. There website loads fast without problems.

Sprite’s strengths are they have their product information available as there first call-to-action which is good so people can access the information very easily. Another one of sprites strengths is there very well known and popular because you can mix sprite to make many mixed drinks. Another one of sprite’s strengths is they have a buy now call-to-action which leads to the product locator so you can locate where to buy the product. Also, they have their social media links down at the bottom of there page so you can easily access their social media accounts so your able to stay up to date with what their posting or any news. Sprite has very good brand loyalty and a good reputation. There website loads fast without problems.



Areas that need improvement

For Canada Dry Ginger Ale, they need to add their social media links to there website so they can improve their appearance online and make their social media accounts more accessible. Another area of improvement for Canada dry ginger ale was they need to add more ways to contact them like their email. Also, I believe they should have on there website a call-to-action for hiring and job positions so its easier for them to receive applications for jobs.

For Sprite, they need to improve their website and add more call-to-action buttons so people can access their information easier. Another area of improvement for sprite is they should add more information on there website so their information is easy to access. Also, to improve their SEO they should add in more keywords in their HTML coding. Sprite could add in their HTML coding the structural elements:  H1, H2, H3.

The keyword sentences found on the sites were for Canada dry ginger ale is Real Ginger, Real Taste, Real Ahhh, also they provided the real canada dry story. For sprite there was Big Taste Cuts Through and #wannasprite.

 


Conclusion:


Include a conclusion that outlines which brand has the strongest SEO and performed best though the audit.  Were there any surprises?

Sprite has the strongest SEO and performed the best throughout the audit, sprite seems to be a lot more popular with a better online presence. I was surprised about the results because I thought Canada dry ginger ale was a lot more popular and I was very surprised that their social media links couldn’t be found on their website.
